Week 30: Turtle Necklace
I’m a big fan of jewelry. I own way too much of it. All styles, too: big and clunky to expensive and refined. I just like gemstones.
This turtle is made of a stone whose name I don’t recall, honestly, so sorry about that. But the jet-black stone has a sleek glisten to it I couldn’t resist. The entire necklace is made of this stone, right down to the beads along the chain.
The turtle itself is a cool animal, one I enjoy. Though it’s not my favorite, they’re certainly fun to watch at the local ponds, and it’s always a neat game of “can you find the turtles when they come up to the surface.”
