When Liz moved to a new high school, she was looking for a fresh start. School was her escape from the violence at home and her only hope at breaking the cycle of poverty she grew up in. Trying to shield her siblings from the worst aspects of her stepfather’s fury was getting harder each day. The Author
Kristina Renee has always been a book nerd so when a close friend published a YA novel, Kristina dug right into the world of publishing to help publish and promote it. After spending several years as an editor for indie authors, she finally took the plunge and decided to write her own novel after attending a UtopYA Convention in 2013. Safer Outside is her first NA novel and part of linear series that will be completed in 2014. Kristina married her high school sweetheart and they have two rambunctious boys that are often wheeling around the San Francisco Bay Area.
