Well the title sort of gives away the punch line, doesn’t it? Still, this is fun and exciting news. Indulge me with a drum roll on your desk while I unveil this yet again: I am lucky enough to be represented by Haskell Nussbaum of the Rights Factory. Wynne Channing and I are agented sisters now!

Haskell and I have been discussing plans and ideas for the Grimoire Saga for a few weeks now. He’s a smart guy with a lot of passion for books, and he said he really enjoyed reading through Lichgates. We’ll see what happens from here, but bottom line, I’m happy to have Haskell on my team.

For those curious, here’s a bit about the Rights Factory:

The Rights Factory is an agency that deals in intellectual property rights to entertainment products, including books, comics & graphic novels, film, television, and video games. We license rights in every territory by representing three types of clients:

— Individual authors whose work we license internationally.
— Entertainment rights-holders who wish to expand their narrative brands and franchises into the literary market.
— Foreign agents and publishers, for whom we license rights on a commission basis.

We work directly with publishers, producers, studios, game developers and other rights-buyers in all territories, occasionally in conjunction with local representatives.
