Week 43: One Bloody Thing After Another – Paperback
For the week of Halloween, I’m giving away a paperback copy of One Bloody Thing After Another. It’s a gory, bloody, screwed-up romp through several characters’ perspectives on life, death, misery, and happiness.
It’s weird.
Now, I didn’t like this book. You can read my review here, but the short version was… ehhhhh. I wouldn’t give it to a high schooler. I’d recommend it to someone in college who wants something totally strange and different to read.
So why am I featuring it here in this giveaway of stuff I love?
Because trying new things is fantastic, even if you end up hating them. I stepped outside my comfort zone to pick up this book, and even if it was in a small way, I tried something new. As the crazy awesome humans we are, we have to stretch and push ourselves.
So even if you don’t win the book, I hope you step outside your comfort zone this week. Do something new. Say hi to a stranger. Buy a homeless man coffee. Do something totally different.
