Week 20: Mike Faria Line Art Sketch
Mike Faira is a brilliantly talented artist. He does all of the official artwork for the Grimoire Saga, and it’s been stellar to see my characters come to life in this way.
The artwork to the right is the line art version of Frine, a character from my Grimoire Saga, which he used to give me an idea of what the final would look like. This is just to show you the depth and light detail available for this style of artwork. There’s not a lot of shading, et cetera. You get the idea.
To celebrate him (and let you know more about him!) I’m paying for a line art drawing of your design. This is an incredible offer, and I can’t wait to see what you choose to have drawn! (At least, I hope I get to see it. The design stage goes between you and Mike.)
Here are the rules:
- The image to the right is a sample of Mike’s work. It’s not for sale, but meant purely to show the style of what is up for grabs.
- The winner of this prize will be able to request a bust or simple full figure drawing.
- The subject can be human or non-human.
- If it is from your imagination, be prepared to give him loads of good descriptions and pictures for examples of certain elements you want to include.
