Writing Conference | New Adult Sleepover Weekend

New Adult Sleepover Weekend

This past weekend, I flew out to Savannah, Georgia to visit with bookworms and authors alike at the New Adult Sleepover Weekend convention. It was loads of fun!

The New Adult Sleepover Weekend

Me at my signing table during NASWThe New Adult Sleepover Weekend convention is all about the New Adult category for novels of all genres (duh, I guess?) but we had young adult novelists and even adult novelists as well. Though the conference’s focus is mainly on the more “wicked” aspect of the New Adult age label, authors like me who walk the line between two categories fit right in.

There was a book signing, panels that discussed everything from technique to character development, and parties! We didn’t sleep much, in case you didn’t guess that already.

I even spoke on a few panels while there. If you sat in on those chats, I’d love to hear what you thought of the discussions.

The Photos

For those interested, I took ample photos and uploaded them to my events album. You’ll see fellow authors like Jen McConnel and Stacey Marie Brown, as well as our charming fellow panelists and bookworms galore!

If you’re looking for the list of conferences I attend, I’m currently planning on going to UtopYA Con 2014. I also keep my calendar up to date, so you can always check there.
