Check out this gorgeous new website!

Brand Icon - SmallMy New Year’s present to myself was a new website—one my husband helped me orchestrate. Thanks, honey!

What You Have To Do

In most cases, you don’t have to do anything! I wanted this to be an easy transition for everyone involved.

Anyone who followed the old blog via Networked Blogs, Linky Followers, & Email will not see a change in service. These delivery methods have already been updated.

Redirects from the old site will take you to the corresponding page on the new site, so you also don’t have to change your links (if you don’t want to—inserting the correct URL is always better, as sometimes browsers block redirects as a safety concern).

RSS users are the only ones who need to do anything, and you can update your feed with this new link:

Boyce’s New Website

The new site is cleaner and to-the-point. In my previous setup, I had a separate domain for my blog and my main site, which was (in hindsight) dumb. I recommend never doing that.

So now the blog and website are one. You can access a host of awesome extras by scrolling down to the footer. The Search feature is also in the footer, as are my social media links in case you need to get in touch with me.

You can head over to the blog via the menu above to see the post feed, and there’s a special sidebar that appears only on blog pages to help you navigate the posts.

I hope you enjoy the new site. I sure do! One of my resolutions for 2013 is to not allow myself to make any more drastic changes to layout or design. Seriously. No more.
