Official UtopYACon Giveaway

Janet Wallace (creator of UtopYACon) and I are hosting a joint, official giveaway for UtopYACon 2015! You can enter to win one of two tickets to next year’s conference. So get in on this!

The Conference

From the website:

UtopYA started in 2012 with only 80 attendees. It quickly quadrupled and sold out four months in advance of the 2013 event with over 320 attendees and 40 exhibitors. In 2014, the size more than doubled again with over 650 attendees, 100 exhibitors, and keynote speakers Sylvia Day and Gennifer Albin raising the audience to even greater heights.

Publishers Weekly recently dubbed utopYA “the conference with heart”, and as we continue to grow, we try and maintain that sense of encouragement and unity among the audience.

Read more about UtopYACon here and, if you’re impatient like me, go ahead and buy your tickets now.

Why UtopYACon Rocks

I went to UtopYACon in 2013 and connected with some authors who are now my closest writing friends. It really is a conference with heart, and it’s nonstop energy. There’s fangirling. There’s laughter. There’s fruity-girly drinks (yum). And most importantly, there’s friends. Fans. Fun.

Here’s my recap from my experience in 2014. I hope to see you there in 2015 (comment if you’re coming!)

  1. S.M. How much are they charging for next year? I decided to wait on the tickets because I don’t know if I can go or not. I would still probably get the VIP since that what helps us eat during the day LOL

    1. Ooh, no idea. Sorry. I got these in the early signups, which were cheaper. But you can sign up for the UtopYA email list to get that info as soon as it’s available: (Scroll down to get to the sign up list, bottom right).

There’s a buy now button to the Eventbrite page on that link, but the Eventbrite page is currently paused until they work out the new prices. Just FYI.
